Hold Breath. The singing whale can hold its breath for 30 minutes.

Keen Hearing. The singing whale has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing.

Innate Spellcasting. The singing whale’s spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 14). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
at will: animal messenger, minor illusion
1/day: healing word, hideous laughter

Speak With Beasts. The singing whale can communicate with seabirds and marine mammals as if they shared a language.

ACTIONS

Fluke Smash. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 25 (3d12 + 5) bludgeoning damage.

Captivating Song. The whale sings an entrancing melody. Each creature within a 60-foot radius of the singing whale must make a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, a creature is charmed by the singing whale and remains so for as long as the whale continues to sing. If a creature’s saving throw is successful, that creature is immune to the singing whale’s Captivating Song for 24 hours.
Creatures with an Intelligence score of 3 or less aren’t affected by the singing whale’s Captivating Song. A creature does not need to understand the singing whale in order to be affected, but it must be able to hear it.

Singing whales are rare and elusive creatures with the power of human speech and a talent for song. It is said that they wish only to bring joy to the hearts of others with their majestic performances. Alas, more than one singing whale has been laid low in the mistaken belief that its songs were sung by a bard trapped in the creature’s stomach.

gollark: You have a GPT partition table thing, and the firmware can just boot an EFI executable stored on the EFI system partition thing, based on the boot entries.
gollark: Modern bootloader-type things are run by the UEFI thing, which is much more complex.
gollark: So, it is probably *not* an EFI thing?
gollark: What sort of environment is your thing meant to run in? Is it some sort of EFI program?
gollark: So you want to be able to query the BIOS for this or something?
