Shield of the Eternal Guardian (5e Equipment)

This massive shield was wielded a long time ago in one of the bleakest, darkest ages of history by a man whose true name was forgotten. The man, now only known as the Eternal Guardian, left behind his shield once he passed from the world as a promise that as long as people continue to have faith in the gods and believe that right makes might, the world will regenerate from any evil done to it.
Random Properties. The Shield of the Eternal Guardian has the following random properties:
- 2 minor beneficial properties
- 2 major beneficial properties
Magic Shield. The Shield of the Eternal Guardian is a magic shield that grants a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. While holding the shield, you also have immunity to damage from nonmagical ranged attacks and resistance to damage from magical ranged attacks. Additionally, while you are attuned to and holding the shield, you automatically succeed on all saving throws against spells.
Light of Hope. On your turn you can will the shield to shed bright light (no action required) in a 120-foot radius and dim light for another 120 feet. The light is sunlight, and if any of this light's area overlaps with an area of darkness created by a spell of 9th level or lower, the spell that created the darkness is dispelled. Fiends and undead within the area of light must make a DC 20 Wisdom saving throw the first time they enter the area of light or start their turn in the area, taking 6d10 radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The light lasts until you turn it off on your turn or until you drop the shield.
Strength and Honor. While you are attuned to this shield and it is within 500 feet of you, whether you are holding it or not, your Strength and Charisma scores each increase by 4, to a maximum of 24.
Retribution. When a creature hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to cause the shield to flare with an explosion of holy sunfire. When you do so, the creature must make a DC 25 Dexterity saving throw, taking 200 radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Damage from this effect cannot be reduced or ignored by any means. If this effect reduces a creature to 0 hit points, it is utterly consumed by the radiance down to the sub-atomic level, leaving no remains. Whether or not the creature makes its saving throw, it is stunned for 1 round. Once you have used this power of the shield, you can't use it again for 7 days.
Destroying the Shield of the Eternal Guardian. This shield cannot be destroyed as long as its power remains. However, it loses its power for 1d100 years if its wielder commits a gross betrayal against either the gods or life itself under his own free will.
