Weapon (handaxe), very rare (requires attunement) What looks like the broken handle of a handaxe has a sickly, black substance coiling around it unevenly. As a bonus action, this weapon binds the shadows around it to create a handaxe with the a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls. Broken Facade. While the axe is not formed, this weapon has the hidden property. Even when not being actively hidden, few could recognize this as a weapon until is axe form is presented, or unless someone uses detect magic. Fear the Unknown. When you roll a 20 on an attack roll using this weapon, the target takes an additional 2d10 necrotic damage. Additionally, while in dim light, you gain advantage on stealth checks as the shadows manipulate themselves to obscure your form. Afraid of the Dark. While in darkness, this weapon will not form, since shadow cannot be formed unless there is light.
