ACTIONS

Multiattack. Seath makes four melee attacks: two with his claws and two with his tail.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d6 + 7) slashing damage.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 10 ft., Hit: 18 (2d10+7) bludgeoning damage.

Crystal Breath (recharge 5-6). Seath breathes a magical mist in a 60-foot cone that makes crystals shoot up out of the ground. Each creature in the area must succeed on a DC 18 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 36 (10d8) piercing damage and has its hit point maximum reduced by half of that damage. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and does not have its hit point maximum reduced.

Seath was born as an abomination of his kind, without the diamond-hard scales that granted the other dragons immortality. Shunned by his kin and envious of their power, he betrayed them by helping Gwyn in his uprising against them, revealing to him the secret to breaking the impenetrable scales of the dragons. After the dragons' defeat, Seath discovered the primordial crystal, which gave him a form of the immortality he craved so much.

The Duke's Archives. For helping him against the dragons, Lord Gwyn rewarded Seath with dukedom, and gave him a great library where he could study the arcane secrets of the world. In this library, however, Seath conducted horrible experiments on captured creatures, transforming them into hideous monsters.
