Scrying Invisibility (3.5e Spell)
This spell protects an area of up to 10 stronghold spaces (see the Stronghold Builder's Guidebook for explanation) from scrying of any kind from outside the area protected. Scrying Invisibility creates a barrier that blocks all scrying attempts passing through it from the outside.

Any scrying effect cast within the area protected by the barrier functions as normal.
Other scrying effects return a false result indicating that the area in question does not exist. (Examples of such a negative response would be a cliffside cave appearing to be solid rock, or a castle appearing to be an unoccupied piece of land typical of the area, such as a forest.) This false result is to be specified by the caster at the time of casting.
This spell may be cast multiple times to increase the area protected against scrying, using the same crystal each time. Any area completely enclosed by area protected by the spell is also protected, although the spell itself need not be present in that location.
Material Component: A crystal orb worth at least 3000 gp and at least 3 feet in diameter, which becomes an anchor for the spell. If the orb is ever destroyed, the spell ends; this is the only way to end the spell. If the orb leaves the area protected by the spell, the effect flips until the orb returns, protecting all areas outside the spell from scrying effects from within the spell's area, and making the previously protected area vulnerable to scrying.
Focus: A piece of a broken mirror once used to scry on the location to be shielded.
XP Cost: 1000 xp per casting
