Innate Spellcasting. The sanguine seeker's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 12). The sanguine seeker can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

3/day each: darkness, detect thoughts, invisibility

Regeneration. The sanguine seeker regains 10 hit points at the start of its turn if it has at least 1 hit point and isn't in sunlight or running water. If the sanguine seeker takes radiant damage or damage from holy water, this trait doesn't function at the start of the sanguine seeker's next turn.

Sanguine Seeker Weaknesses. The sanguine seeker has the following flaws:
Forbiddance. The sanguine seeker can't enter a residence without an invitation from one of the occupants.
Harmed by Running Water. The sanguine seeker takes 20 acid damage when it ends its turn in running water.
Sunlight Hypersensitivity. The sanguine seeker takes 20 radiant damage when it starts its turn in sunlight. While in sunlight, it has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The sanguine seeker makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) necrotic damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (2d4 + 3) slashing damage.

A sanguine seeker is a terrifying undead abomination that is part humanoid, part bat. A sanguine seeker flies on silent wings through the night, watching its prey and reading its thoughts, striking when the time is right. Because of its innate abilities, a sanguine seeker makes an ideal spy for a vampire, though even a glance at a sanguine seeker betrays its unnatural origin, so it keeps to the shadows, out of sight.

Undead Nature. A sanguine seeker doesn't require air.
