Sand Veil. While in sandy terrain, the sandslash has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks, and can take the Hide action as a bonus action.

Sand Rush. While burrowing, the sandslash can take the Dash action as a bonus action.

Tunneler. The sandslash can burrow through solid rock at half its burrow speed and leaves a 3-foot-wide, 3-foot-high tunnel in its wake.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The sandslash makes two claw attacks.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) slashing damage.

Earthquake (Recharge 5-6). The sandslash creates a tremor in the ground within 60 feet of it. Each creature other than the sandslash in that area must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 21 (6d6) bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone. If the ground in that area is loose earth or stone, it becomes difficult terrain until cleared, with each 5-foot-diameter portion requiring at least 1 minute to clear by hand.

A Sandslash Source

Sandslash are desert dwellers, meaning they live in sandy environments, jumping out of the ground to scare off intruders and most importantly, slashers of any enemy that it can reach. They are vicious creatures to combat and good allies to have.
