Armor (Shield), Very Rare (Requires Attunement)

This item is a large brown and white round shield, seemingly made up of stone, with a large black hole in the center. Circular. +3 AC while equipped.

Celestial Warding Can be raised and activated with an action, it's holder is then 'Incapacitated', its speed lowered to 5 and imposes disadvantage on all ranged attacks and ranged spell checks against the holder and allies in adjacent spaces. After (Half your level, rounded down, plus your constitution modifier) rounds with the shield readied in this way, you begin to take one level of exhaustion per turn until you lower the shield. The only action you can take while in this state is to lower the shield, and it is a full turn action.
