While you wear this ring, if you are Medium or Tiny your size becomes Small and you appear to be a gnome, as though you were under the effect of the disguise self spell. In addition you gain the following benefits:

You are considered proficient with alchemist's supplies.
You are considered proficient in the Intelligence (Investigation) skill when discerning illusions, and add twice your normal proficiency bonus, instead of your normal proficiency bonus.
