This magic weapon accelerates any small metal object (weighing no more than 0.5 ¼ lb.) using magically powered magnets. It is a martial ranged weapon with the following statistics.

Special Ammunition. Common pieces of ammunition are coins (slashing damage), sling bullets or lumps of ore (bludgeoning damage), arrow heads, darts or pitons (piercing damage).

Armor Piercing (-2). Targets with natural armor or worn armor and an AC of 14 or better take a -1 penalty to AC. Targets with natural armor or worn armor and an AC of 16 or better take a -2 penalty to AC.

Magically Enhanced. If you have spell slots, you can expend one when you attack with this weapon. It deals an additional 1d8 damage for each level of spell slot you expend.
