Weapon (Special), Legendary (requires attunement) “ The pyromancy flame of Livid Pyromancer Dunnel that attracts the echoes of the death. When Dunnel lost his hideous spouse, he gave his own pyromancy flame as an offering, which transformed into a parting flame. Not long after, Dunnel became a mad spirit, cursed to wander the lands. ” The faint, flickering flame seems to whisper to you in a conglomeration of voices. Once attuned, the whispers turn into the quiet moans of agony and torture being inflicted upon the souls of those you've slain until they've been released. This "weapon" deals 3d4 fire damage. While it is viable as a melee weapon, it can also be used as a spell focus for fire-based spells, increasing the damage die by one dice type for attacks (ex. 1d6 becomes 1d8). Parting Flame. As long as you have this weapon worn, each living humanoid you kill has their soul torn from their dying breath and stored in the flame, to a maximum of 4 souls (or "death echoes");This effect does nothing to slain humanoid constructs or humanoid undead as constructs were never alive, thus meaning they have no soul, and the soul of an undead/ghoul has already been sent to the afterlife, therefor it cannot be taken after death. At any point, as long there is 1 death echo in the Parting Flame, you can release them into your being, gaining a number of temporary hitpoints equal to twice the amount of death echoes you have stored. Flame of a Pyromancer. While you're attuned to this weapon, you have resistance to fire damage, as well as advantage on any saving throw related to fire damage, i.e., fireball or dodging a trap that spits flame in a dungeon.
