ACTIONS

Multiattack. The pyrogodon makes four attacks: one with its bite, two with its claws, and one with its tail.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 27 (3d12 + 8) piercing damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (2d12 + 8) slashing damage plus 10 (3d6) fire damage.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 44 (8d8 + 8) bludgeoning damage.

Pyrogodons are powerful elementals created by a now long dead demon lord. When that demon lord was destroyed, however, some pyrogodons collected the fragmented essence of abyssal power that remained and imbued it into themselves, transforming into powerful creatures neither truly demon nor elemental. These pyrogodons surround themselves with their lesser kin and demons and lure mortal servants.
A pyrogodon suzerain will lend its aid to emerging demons that crave power. The resources that it lends are a great boon, but when the demon solidifies its power, the pyrogodon claims its end of the bargain: the demon must serve it or be destroyed. In this way, pyrogodons indirectly control a good deal of the Abyss, with the ultimate goal of ruling it all.

Elemental Nature. A pyrogodon suzerain doesn't require air, drink, or sleep.

gollark: I mean, a monopoly over their platforms, yes.
gollark: Not really!
gollark: Apple is becoming even more walled-garden-y with their custom silicon, too.
gollark: Well, at least it avoids the side channel attack issues of having multiple VMs/whatever on a more powerful server.
gollark: I wouldn't be surprised if at least a few % of Apple devices were primarily bought for iOS development.
