Creating a Plushie
This is an acquired and possibly an inherited template that can be applied to any living corporeal creature (Hereafter referred to as the Base Creature). The creature can either be created as a plushie or it can be turned into a plushie through more... Plushiesque methods.
Size and Type
The base creature's type is changed to Construct(Living Construct, Fire). If the base creature has any racial HD, recalculate as a Construct.
If the base creature is larger than small, they decrease in size by one step, taking all relevant penalties and modifiers for changing size (For example, medium to small is -4 Str, -2 Con, +2 Dex).
Special Attacks
Spell-Like Ability (Go Boom): The base creature gain the ability to self-immolate, dealing no damage to it's body but 1d6 points of fire damage to everyone in a 5 ft. radius. Feats can improve this ability. It allows a Reflex save for half, DC (10 + 1/2 HD + Cha). They may do this once every 1d4 rounds
Special Qualities
Spell-Like Ability: (1 + Cha modifier)/day—prestidigitation. Caster level 1st; save DC 10 + plushie’s Cha modifier + spell level.
Soggy When Wet: Whenever the base creature is immersed in water or otherwise soaked through, it's speed is cut in half as long as it is in that environment and 1d4 hours afterward as it dries off. If there is some effect which dries the base creature faster, it may reduce this time.
Magical Lifeforce: Dispel magic and antimagic fields have a negative effect on the base creature. When hit with any dispel magic, the base creature makes a Will saving throw vs being knocked stunned for 1d4 rounds. An antimagic field incurs a save vs unconsciousness every round until you leave the area, and mage's disjunction becomes a save vs death. All plushies know the power magic cancellation has on them and fear it.
Light Fortification: Lacking actual organs is a boon. The base creature gain a 25% chance to negate a critical hit.
Bouncy: The base creature take half damage from falls.
Slight Build: The physical stature of the base creature's new form lets it function in many ways as if it were one size category smaller. Whenever the base creature is subject to a size modifier or special size modifier for an opposed check (such as Hide), it is treated as one size smaller if doing so is advantageous to the base creature. The base creature is also considered to be one size smaller when "squeezing" through a restrictive space. The base creature can use weapons designed for a creature one size smaller without penalty. However, the space and reach of the base creature remain those of a creature of it's actual size. The benefits of this racial trait stack with the effects of powers, abilities, and spells that change the subject's size category.
You are a Plushie!: The base creature is treated as though being an Eijilund Plushie for all purposes and effects.
