Practical Application of Pearl Shape
While using steel is common above land, what is a marine or aquatic campaign going to do? Wood doesn't last long without rotting, and steel rusts easily. Leather might work for a while, but as armor, its constricting underwater. Pearl fills the gap of a hard, available material, but it is not easily workable. This spell allows the caster to form and shape pearl into a variety of forms, from axe-heads, to full plate mail. Pearl has a hardness of 8 unless it is tempered by the pearl harden spell.
