Oblivion Wave (5e Spell)

Make a ranged attack roll to every creature within range, you do NOT have to see the creature in order for the spell to hit, on a hit that creature take 8d8 force damage or half as much on a miss, the caster must then make a Wisdom saving throw against their spell save DC or else they will take 8d8 force damage and be temporarily cursed for 1 minute. The curse provides a 50% chance for first level spells to fail and go wild wasting the spell slot a material components and the percentage increase by 5 percent for each spell above 1st

Range: self (150ft radius)
Components: V, S, M a drop of blood and a gem worth 100 GP
Duration: Instantaneous

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher increase the damage by 1d8 per target
