Myoxat are large spider-like creatures that appear to be made of shadow, but they have vaguely humanoid faces with invariably sharp fangs on the end of long necks, with their front two spider legs ending with humanoid hands, though they only have four fingers. They are accomplished swimmers and climbers, using some innate magic to aid them. They can also channel this innate magical energy to curse other creatures, or to remove curses placed upon them. Most humanoids fear and despise the myoxat, thinking them to be fiends in disguise, so they tend to live in isolation or small groups away from cities and towns, usually underground. However, those that search out the myoxat will find that they are largely ignorant of what humanoids think of them, and that they are always ready to help those that need to be helped.

gollark: I know ABR isn't here to do that. But it's the thought that counts.
