Misinterpreted Color Spray (5e Spell)

This spell is based on a campaign where I somehow misread Color Spray to do this instead of its intended effect; Nobody fact-checked this, allowing it to be used to devestating effect. I wrote it out here for the sake of posterity.

This content is not designed for use in regular games, and may affect overall balance and gameplay. Take caution when using this material.

A dazzling mist of multicolored water sprays forth from your fingers, issuing forth devastating, but decidedly non-lethal, amounts of damage upon your foes.

Roll 6d10. All creatures within the cone takes force damage equal to the amount rolled divided by the number of creatures affected. If a creature would be reduced to 0 hit points by this spell, it takes no damage instead.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you roll an additional 2d10 for every level above 1st.
