Salt Susceptibility. For every handful of salt thrown on the leech, it takes 3 (1d6) acid damage.

ACTIONS

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: 13 (2d10 + 2) piercing damage, and the leech attaches to the target. While attached, the leech doesn't attack. Instead, at the start of each of the leech's turns, the target loses 13 (2d10 + 2) hit points due to blood loss.
The leech can detach itself by spending 5 feet of its movement. It does so after it drains 20 hit points of blood from the target or the target dies. A creature, including the target, can use its action to attempt to detach the leech with a DC 13 Strength check.

Stories are told of leeches that live in the underground waters and swampy places, and are attracted by the smell of blood, stealthily moving around, and looking for prey. Mega leeches hunt in packs and love to feed on the same target at once.

gollark: What a wondrous optimization.
gollark: No, just remove the bit connected to your ear.
gollark: Your ear has betrayed you; remove it.
