Marak's Denial (3.5e Spell)

When cast this spell instantly mimics into the countermagic version of whatever spell it's cast against. This spell is capable of countering any spell of level equal to or lower than its spell level (thus the Heighten Spell feat is needed to counter higher level spells.) As an immediate action to cast it counts against the caster's limit of one quickened spell per turn and does not provoke an attack of opportunity. It may be cast in response to an opponent casting a spell. This spell has no effect on spell like abilities, spell trigger items, wands, scrolls or spells already in effect at the time of casting.
