The School of Astromancy

Astromancy is a recently discovered school of magic, one focusing on using the magical energy given off from the celestial bodies from space. While most commonly power is drawn directly from the sun, it is not impossible to draw power from moons, planets, stars or the nothing between them. Whatever the source though, astromancy has proven a more efficient or simple way of casting some existing spells, however, the magical energy required is still The same, and has made lead to the discovery of whole new rituals, cantrips and spells.

Spells of the Astromancy school typically result in warping spacetime, providing knowledge of one's location and direction and manipulating spacial energy, such as light or gravity. As such spells of an astromantic nature tend to be popular among construction crews, navigators, astronomers and adventurers.

When using this variant rule, the following spells are considered to be astromancy spells.

5e Spells

1st Level Catapult, Chromatic Orb, Color Spray, Identify, Jump, Longstrider
2nd Level Blur, Hold Person, Levitate, Moonbeam, Misty Step, Spider Climb
3rd Level Clairvoyance, Daylight, Haste, Melf’s Minute Meteors, Slow
