Description

The M6C PDWS is primarily issued to UNSC Marine Corps vehicle crews, and can be 'up-sized' for SPARTAN-II soldiers to use (the weapon becomes large sized). The weapon comes issued with M228 SAP-HP ammunition that aids in armor and target penetration, reducing the targets armor bonus by 2 (to a minimum of 0).

Description

The M6C/SOCOM (or M6S) is an M6C that has a silencer, illuminator and VnSLS/V 6E 4x optical, smart linked scope attached standard. The weapon also comes standard with M228 SAP-HP ammunition that aids in armor and target penetration, reducing the targets armor bonus by 2 (to a minimum of 0). The weapon's silencer imposes a -2 penalty on damage rolls. The listen DC for hearing where the shot originated from is 15, as the sound of the weapon is not silent. The M6S is issued with a laser sight mounted over the barrel, the laser sight provides a +1 to ranged attack rolls with the weapon in dim or darker illuminations within 30 ft.

Description

The M6D PDWS is issued with a KFA-2 2x optical, smart-linked scope that is built into the weapon. The scope (when activated) is displayed on the wielder's HUD. It is also standard issue with M225 SAP-HE ammunition. This ammunition contains a charge of explosives inside the bullet that produces an extra jolt of damage (+1d6 fire and slashing damage). The rounds can be used in other variants of the M6, but it is rare.

  • This weapon appeared exclusively in HALO: Combat Evolved (the first game).
