Wondrous item, Rare Pink, pomegranate-like, fruit with the smell and taste of figs, the locacaca has the bizarre property of equivalent exchange. Locacaca The natural form of locacaca, when consumed, cures a creature of any conditions, any diseases, any spell effects, all levels of exhaustion, or 1 lingering injury, or they regain their maximum hit points, after which they must roll from the lingering injury table (or from 1 randomly selected lingering injury table if using multiple such as those by damage type), taking the injury in the form of part of their body becoming stone. New Locacaca A grafted branch of the locacaca plant, a mutation caused its fruit to become more gourd-like, and its exchange to be able to effect another creature. When consumed, the creature becomes paralyzed for 1 minute. Any creature that touches them takes 1d4 necrotic damage every 6 seconds. For every 10 damage dealt, the creature that ate the fruit loses 1 condition, 2 disease, or 1 level of exhaustion, or they regain 10 hit points. For every 35 damage dealt, they may forgo the previous effects to lose 1 lingering injury. They may forgo this damage to instead inflict 1 lingering injury, but they must be in contact long enough to have taken 35 damage. Locacaca 2651 An experimental liquid drug made of refined locacaca, 2651 is more stable, making the chances of debilitating effects less likely. When consumed, 2651 cures a creature of any conditions, any diseases, any spell effects, all levels of exhaustion, or 1 lingering injury, or they regain their maximum hit points, after which they must attempt a DC 17 Charisma saving throw. On a success, they take 2d6 necrotic damage. On a failure, they roll from the lingering injury table (or from 1 randomly selected lingering injury table if using multiple such as those by damage type), taking the injury in the form of part of their body becoming stone. |
