Lilith's Power Rod, or as some call it simply, Lilith's Rod, was designed for her bloodline, as they were likely attuned to the wild side of magic from birth. She fashioned this rod from a type of wood that came from Limbo, the realm of pure chaos, harvested in the few minutes that it was alive. After she harvested the wood, the tree went extinct and was never seen anywhere in the known universe again. After claiming the wood, she imbued it with her magic and left it to her only son, a demigod that need not be named. She also gave him a law to follow. He and his offspring could only ever have one child to hold the rod so there would not be needless fighting and bloodshed. It has been the pride of the bloodline ever since.
Random Properties. The Lilith's Power Rod has the following random properties:
- 1 minor beneficial property
- 1 major beneficial property
- 1 minor detrimental property
Animal Heart. Whoever holds the rod gains 2 things: they are able to understand what the creatures around them say, and they are able to, as an action, cast dominate monster. After the bearer uses this ability, the staff must recharge for 24 hours before it can use it again.
Plant Obedience. As an action the bearer of this rod can cast entangle. Once the bearer uses this feature, the rod must recharge it for 24 hours before it can use it again.
Destroying the Lilith's Power Rod. In the simplest sense of the word, Lilith's Power Rod cannot be destroyed. However, in another sense, if it is put in Limbo, its power becomes irrelevant as Limbo's natural chaos magic will cancel out the wild in the staff. If left there for 7 days, the rod loses all its magic.
