Rod, rare This is a white rod with a blue crystal at each end. Always found with two pieces of unidentifiable cloth which each have a giant rune on them, one has the rune for power the other light. By rubbing the rod with the two pieces of cloth for an hour you can build up a charge up to a max of ten. When used the rod as an action, it will release all stored charges to produce a bolt of energy in a 90 foot line. Creatures must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw to take half of the 1d10 lightning damage dealt for each charge used. If more than 5 charges are used at once there is a (10 x the amount of charges used)% chance of the rod shattering.
