ACTIONS

Multiattack. The Large Breed Arachne makes three claw attacks. It can replace one of those attacks with a bite attack.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 5 (2d4) piercing damage plus 9 (2d8) poison damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) slashing damage.

Web (Recharge 5-6). Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 30/60 ft., one Large or smaller creature. Hit: The creature is restrained by webbing. As an action, the restrained creature can make a DC 15 Strength check, escaping from the webbing on a success. The effect also ends if the webbing is destroyed. The webbing has AC 12, 7 hit points, vulnerability to fire damage, and immunity to bludgeoning, poison and psychic damage.

Large breed arachne are imposing, ogre-sized half-spider creatures that are capable of surviving a variety of differing environments. A large breed's upper human half is that of a large-statured, physically-imposing female. Its human "legs" end in furry, spider-like pedipalps, its arms have a thick layer of fur and end in large, sharp, four-fingered claws, and it has six solid-colored eyes.
Meanwhile, a large breed's lower spider half is that of a massive tarantula with barbed legs, and thick fur covering its body.
Nomad Society. Large breed arachnes often live together in reclusive, nomadic tribes within their given environment, though some large breeds choose to live in the wilderness as outlanders or hermits, due to the fearful reaction most outsiders have to their generally-monstrous appearance.
Temperament. Most large breed arachnes are brash, aggressive, unsophisticated, and distrustful of outsiders, though their trust CAN be earned by those who prove themselves within the wilderness. However, despite their abrasive nature, they also possess the cunning to engineer ambushes, whether it be through burrowing underground, or with their thick and durable webbing.

gollark: Anyway, apparently the index is hard to read because there are too many things.
gollark: Centering bad?
gollark: I need design feedback on it. People keep complaining that it's impossible to read it.
gollark: Have you seen osmarks.net?
gollark: Even hilariously outdated GTech™ photonic processing cuboids are orders of magnitude better than the silly transistor-based GPUs made by Intel and AMD and such.
