Bear Hug. The knuckledragger has advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks made to initiate a grapple. Brute. A melee weapon deals one extra die of its damage when the knuckledragger hits with it (included in the attack). Rampage. When the knuckledragger reduces a creature to 0 hit points with a melee attack on its turn, the knuckledragger can take a bonus action to move up to half its speed and make a fist attack. Relentless (Recharges after Short or Long rest). If the knuckledragger is reduced to 0 hit points, it is reduced to 1 hit point instead. ACTIONSMultiattack. The knuckledragger makes two fist attacks. Fist. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage. REACTIONSUnbridled Fury. In response to being hit by a melee attack, the knuckledragger can make one melee weapon attack with advantage against the attacker. |
Knuckledraggers are just as lazy as any other ogre but are dumber and stronger. A knuckledragger is born with abnormal muscle mass proportionately to their cousins and much larger hands that drag along the ground, for which they are named. This, however, comes at the cost of what little intelligence they have. Knuckledraggers tend to lack the cognitive ability of speech and appear to be more primal than their brothers. They only follow those who assert themselves with physical strength and aggression, making them largely the infantry charges of more organized tribes and orc warbands. |
