Kitsune kami are devious tricksters also known as fox wives or fox spirits they generally enjoy impersonating humans of various ranks either for seduction for tricking merchants. They can pretend to pay merchants a good amount of money only to have the merchants discover that the papyrus money and brass coins they paid are simply stones and leaves. They are also famous for giving food to rude samurai and soldiers only for them to discover that they are eating horse feces at the last minute. They love nothing more than seducing rude warriors and aggressive adventurers only to steal their weapons and loot and then toss their valuable gear into a lake or a pile of pig manure. Lascivious emissaries and performers, bards and so forth are seduced for a night of pleasure only to find themselves completely naked in the morning in a village well or graveyard. |
