This creature is shaped like a thick, stocky lizard with fine, shiny brownish scales, except in that it has no eyes. It has thick limbs that are longer with a bit more reach than a normal reptile's, and the base of its mouth shows mild acid scoring. In the cold of the world, they live in caves, where their coldblooded natures can thrive from the warmth of underground geysers. In the steam of the geysers around which they flock, their illusory defensive tactics gain strength.

An average Kibble is about 3 and a half to 4 feet long and weighs between 40 and 60 pounds. They use illusions in order to stave off attempts of hunters and robbers.

Combat

Usually, these creatures shy away from combat and use their ability to create illusions in order to confound their attackers. It is unlikely that they will attack directly, and wll rather flee when met with deadly force.

Blind (Ex): Kibbles do not have access to visual senses and are therefore immune to visual illusions such as patterns and and gaze attacks.

Confound (Su): A kibble is able to use an array of illusions to protect itself. This ability manifests itself as a mirage arcana at will and is usually always active to deter treasure seekers and hunters before they find them. A targeted dispel does not work, since the illusions are usually the work of all the present Kibbles' joint efforts. This ability warrants a Will save to disbelieve against a DC of 13, although in condensed smoke and water vapour from the geysers around which Kibbles live, the DC increases by 2. The DC increases further by +1 for every three Kibbles that are working together to create the illusion to a maximum bonus of +10.

Skills: Kibbles have a +8 racial bonus to Climb and Listen.

gollark: There are various ways to breed leetles:kill TJ09 and take his place, then make it possible for you to breed leetlespay TJ09 and/or ask him nicely to make your leetles breedablemind-control TJ09hack into DC and make your leetles breedable/give yourself a bred leetle
gollark: Or at least under 5d.
gollark: The cave has *more* BSAs, and if you care about their lineages then go there, but the AP's are very low-time usually.
gollark: You should probably use the AP to get BSAs and not the cave.
