Five or more (1/day each): contagion, insect plague

Jangseung is a celestial agent, either commissioned from the Upper Planes or summoned by mortals of the Material Plane, bound to a wooden pole for its activities in the Material Plane. A typical jangseung's mission is to watch over the activities of fiends and mischievous fey in a certain location, or to protect and serve the local townsfolk, keeping them safe from threats such as natural disasters or invasions.

Jangseung Network. There are more than one jangseungs in the Material Plane chances are, in some more developing communities, jangseungs can be found one for each town, and perhaps another or two between the two towns. While a jangseung is immobile because it is bound to the wooden pole, its innate power enables to locate and perceive other jangseungs within its active area. Being a celestial in essence, jangseugs form a network, complete with a chief and dedicated scribes to record the meeting. A typical jangseung network meeting is for the purpose of reporting activities and requesting supports.

Bound Nature. Being bound to an inanimate pole, a jangseung does not require air, food, drink, or sleep.

gollark: I know Joshua *isn't*, at least?
gollark: I'm not clear exactly what everyone is doing, but:- Ojas and someone are doing mechanical/hardware design, which is general to basically all the challenges- me and Aidan are doing cameras and sensors, which generalizes to most of them- actually I have no idea if anyone else is doing anything
gollark: Only because lots of people are effectively just ignoring the team divisions.
gollark: I don't think mr wilde will mind if we come up with a better way to organize stuff and explain why.
gollark: What?
