ACTIONS

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2 (1d4) piercing damage.

Highly social, carnivorous bird wyverns that live in large packs. Young jaggi males hunt in groups when attacking larger animals and have been known to steal wyvern eggs. Research suggests they operate under orders from a single alpha male. Jaggi can usually be found in plains, forest or grassy areas near beaches. Jaggi will attack almost any creature such as humans, orcs, bears and even dragons.

Variants: Baggi, Jaggia, and Wroggi

Besides the standard jaggi, various other types exist, as detailed below.

Baggi. Baggi are like jaggi but they can be both male and female, are blue, have one horn and can spit a special liquid that puts creatures to sleep. Baggi live in the tundra.
A baggi has the following action option.

Soporific Spit. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 15/30 ft., one target. Hit: The target must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be knocked unconscious for 1 minute. The target wakes up if it takes damage or if another creature takes an action to shake it awake.

Jaggia. Jaggia are the females of the jaggi species. They are noticeably larger and bulkier than the immature males, and are mostly a blue-purple in hue, the exceptions being orange areas along their limbs and the sides of their necks and cream-colored underbellies. Their tails, unlike males of the species, have no barbs, and instead have a soft feather-like hanging accent near their ends. Their frills, located behind their jaws, are also more subdued than in other Jaggi variations, and hang limply. Jaggia live in the same places as jaggi.
A jaggia is Medium and has 13 (3d8) hit points as well as the following action option.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d6) bludgeoning damage.

Wroggi. Wroggi have two green poison-generating organs that run from their mouths down to their throats. A wroggi can spit poison. Wroggi can live in volcanoes but they usually live in forests.
A wroggi has the following action option.

Poison Spit. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 15/30 ft., one target. Hit: The target must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or take 5 (2d4) poison damage.
