Timber. When the isles wood woad dies, all creatures within a 30 ft. radius must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 16 (3d10) bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.

Plant Camouflage. The wood woad has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks it makes in any terrain with ample obscuring plant life.

Regeneration. The wood woad regains 10 hit points at the start of its turn if it is in contact with the ground. If the wood woad takes fire damage, this trait doesn’t function at the start of the wood woad’s next turn. The wood woad dies only if it starts its turn with 0 hit points and doesn’t regenerate.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The isles wood woad makes two attacks with its spear.

Spear. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 10 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (3d6 + 3) piercing damage or 16 (3d8 + 3) piercing damage if used with two hands to make a melee attack.

A wood woad is a powerful plant in humanoid form invested with the soul of someone who gave up life to become an eternal guardian. Deep within the palm forests in Rupture, the most common tree grows towards the sky. This variant of wood woads have similar properties but stand at around 40 feet tall.
