A town with Resource Specialty specializes in the production of a particular resource. Resource specialty may be taken multiple times for different resources. Example resources include: lumber, livestock, and grain.

Minor (counts as 1 industry)

2% reduction in the cost of the resource.

Medium (counts as 2 industries)

5% reduction in the cost of the resource.

Major (counts as 3 industries)

10% reduction in the cost of the resource.
