Imperials (3.5e Race)

Imperials

With the rise of empires came a new kind of "human". These men were born and raised to rule others. They lost the flexibility of rural man and came to embody the more focused and specialized urban man. They also became the soldiers and officer corps of their empire with a deep and steady loyalty to their Emperor.

Personality

Imperial society is well ordered and cooperative. They tend to live simpler lives, value hard labor, independence, and obligation.

Physical Description

Physically imperials are identical to humans.

Relations

Imperials sided with Law in the Wars of Law and Chaos. (See Endhaven (DnD Campaign Setting))

Imperials cooperate with any race willing to cooperate. If you do not cooperate, they tend to conquer or destroy.

Alignment

Imperials tend towards lawful alignments.

Lands

Imperials are common through all lands that the Dragon, Tiger, and Phoenix empires expanded into.

Religion

Imperials worship a vast range of gods.

Language

Same as humans.

Names

Imperials usually have three names: a clan name, a father's name, and a personal name.

Racial Traits

  • Medium: As Medium creatures, Imperials have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
  • Imperials base land speed is 30 feet
  • Once per day Imperials can cast Command with a caster level equal to their character level.
  • Automatic Language: Common. Bonus Languages: Any non-secret.
  • Level Adjustment: +1.
