Ice Element (Planar Travel Supplement)

Ice

Ice as an element means that the Planar Form is the embodiment of Ice, slowly chilling its opponents. Ice is known for its ability to freeze an opponent solid.

Allied Elements

Element Effect: Freeze

Freeze (roll, rounds): The Freeze effect, will stop an affected target from taking actions for the number of rounds specified. In order to freeze, the natural roll must be at least the amount specified. If the target is already frozen, the number of rounds is added to the number of rounds they have remaining. Frozen creatures cannot act during their round. Any fire damage will automatically unfreeze the target.

Cold Resistance

Name: Cold Resistance
Element: Ice
Required Level: 2 for Cold Resistance I, 3 for Cold Resistance II, etc. Can be purchased by non-allied elements at double the Ability Point cost. Total levels of all elements count for this skill.
Required Abilities: None
Ability Point Cost: 2 for Cold Resistance I, 4 for Cold Resistance II, etc. Non-Allied elements pay 4 for Cold Resistance I, 8 for Cold Resistance II, etc.
Number of Uses
Per Combat:
Innate
Description: Each round while frozen, roll a D10. If the result is 10, you are immediately un-frozen. Each level of Cold Resistance improves this range by 1 (such as 9 or 10 for level 2 of the ability).

Chill

Name: Chill
Element: Ice
Required Level: 1 for Chill I, 2 for Chill II, etc.
Required Abilities: None
Ability Point Cost: 3 for Chill I, 6 for Chill II, etc.
Number of Uses
Per Combat:
Innate
Description: When you freeze an opponent, they take 1 damage per level of chill each round they are frozen.

Cold Mastery

Name: Cold Mastery
Element: Ice
Required Level: 3 for Cold Mastery I, 4 for Cold Mastery II, etc.
Required Abilities: Chill III
Ability Point Cost: 5 for Cold Mastery I, 10 for Cold Mastery II, etc.
Number of Uses
Per Combat:
Innate
Description: When you freeze an opponent, they are frozen for an extra round for each level of Cold Mastery. The chance to freeze also improves by 1 for each level of this ability.
