Half-Rocks

Personality

These creatures are similar to humans, but really down to earth. They tend towards extremes, typically being unpredictable ore strict. One common trait is that they have quite the explosive temper. Only take a half-rock for granite if you are prepared to face the consequences.

Physical Description

As human, but with gray skin. Half-Rocks also tend to be a little bit shorter and a little bit heavier than humans.

Relations

They get along well with any creatures, but they get along especially well with earth-based creatures. Dwarves especially tend to really dig them.

Alignment

Any.

Lands

Basically any land except a desert. Deserts tend to really wear on them.

Religion

Any, but especially if the god is focused on earth or rocks.

Language

Common and Terran.

Names

As human, but usually with some kind of rock pun built in.

Racial Traits

  • +2 Constitution, -2 Dexterity, +1 natural armor

Half-Rocks are hardy but slow, and their skin is thick.

  • Humanoid (Earth)
  • As a medium-sized creature, Half-Rocks get no special bonuses due to size.
  • Half-Rock base land speed is 30 feet. No speed penelty from heavy armor.
  • Tremorsense (Ex)

Half-Rocks get tremorsense within 30 feet. Rocks know other rocks.

  • Automatic Languages: Common, Terran. Bonus Languages: Any.
  • Favored Class: Farmer.
