Greater Hellhound
Physical Description
Midnight black fur shines under the moonlight, eyes a blazing red. A lean, alluring figure, part devil and part hound, stretches high into the midnight sky. A presence of fear and lust simultaneously fill the air, and all goes silent, before the Greater Hellhound lets out a piercing howl, before slinking back into its den.
History
The first Greater Hellhound was accidentally created when a Succubus and Hellhound mated. Originally, the succubus planned on killing the child upon giving birth to it, though over the course of her pregnancy, grew strangely attached to her child. After giving birth, she noted the baby was strangely cuter than she imagined it would be. Although it was considered wrong for a succubus and hellhound to mate, the devils took a liking to the offspring. Over time, many incubus and succubus mated with hellhounds, giving rise to a great number of them. In fact, their insurgence was so great in such a short span of time that, when they eventually broke out of the Nine Hells, they stormed the material plane in mass. These creatures are feared by many, though loved by devils and demons. \Historically, most Greater Hellhounds lives a typical life of kidnapping and reproducing, though there are some who have been known to break free from their bonds. In the past century or so, Greater Hellhounds have acquired significantly more intelligence from observing humans. With their newfound knowledge, Greater Hellhounds have since begun living healthier lives that involve more consent and less kidnapping.
Society
Greater hellhounds usually live with their families in an isolated cave until they are 25. After this point, they leave their homes in search of a mate. Greater Hellhounds kidnap men and women, typically those foolish enough to pass through their territory, and force the captive to become their mate. Those taken by Greater Hellhounds almost never return, either out of fear for their lives or, in an even worse case, develop a strange and twisted love for their captor. Once they've secured their mate, Hellhounds look avidly for a cave in the wilderness as far away from major settlements as possible. However, the mate of a Hellhound may be able to convince it to live in within a small village or town, but never a city.
