The tardigrade is a microscopic creature known for its sheer endurance in the face of the elements, as a creature that is as close to immortality as a being can reach without magic. A mage's permanent spell of enlargement, however, caused a small group of tardigrades to grow to tremendous sizes. These terrifying beasts killed their creator and sought out homes that could fit their new forms. Now, descendants from the original giant tardigrades lurk in deep, damp, mossy caverns, ready to kill, but never to be killed. |
