Gallade (5e Race)

Gallade

Physical Description

Gallades possess an overall knightly appearance. Like their Gardevoir cousins, their skin is white, save for their arms and the upper half of their torso which is green. Their legs are very thick, and their waist is strangely egg-shaped. Their upper arms are thin, but their forearms, although rather thin themselves, are wider, ending in 3 fingers. Their elbows contain a retractable blade, causing their arm to double in length when retracted, which is used to fight off their enemies. They, like Gardevoir, possess a chest horn. They have red eyes and feather-like ears on either side of their head. Their hair is green and curves down the front of their face ending at their nose. A strange horn in the shape of a half-circle rests atop their head, teal in color, with a strip of that same color extending to the front of the hair where it curves.

There specimens of Gallade known to exist that have an altered coloration similar to their Gardevoir cousins. Their hair is a darkish blue coloration instead of green, their head-horn takes on a grey color, and their chest horn and eyes are instead orange.

History

The region of Sinnoh, where the mysterious Dawn Stones were discovered, is where Gallades were first discovered. The radiation emitted from the stones caused juvenile Gardevoirs, known as Kirlias, who got near them to develop into Gallades. Strangely enough, the only ones affected were male Kirlias. Although many plausible theories have been developed, no one has managed to come up with a concrete reason as to why this is the case.

Society

Gallades live primarily in the forest. Like Gardevoirs, they have an undying loyalty to those they care for.

Gallade Names

All Gallades are male, and thus have male names. This has given rise to the idea that all Gardevoirs are female, which is untrue. Their names are usually Elven, Sylvan, or Common.

gollark: > Instead write an actual program. Something fun, something useful, something completely useless and over-complicated. Whatever. As long as you learn a ton and have fun I don't care - that is what ComputerCraft is about :). But please don't just make an operating system.
gollark: Importantly:> Don't. Find something else interesting to write. Most operating systems end up being glorified startup screens. The ones which don't generally opt for features which are "cool" or exist in real life operating systems rather than those which make life easier for the user.
gollark: Oops, sent it twice!

gollark: <@490656381662396418> It is actually on github. It's just that "making your own BIOS" with no understanding of what that is or means is moronically stupid.
