Fortify (5e Spell)

A creature you touch gains 1d4 temporary hit points. On following rounds you can use your bonus action to grant another 1d4 temporary hit points or can choose to keep previous temporary hit points. The components for this maintenance becomes semantic and the range increases to 60 feet. This spell ends if you use your bonus action to do anything else. This spell also ends if the target is ever outside the spell's range.

Casting time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Components: V, S, M (a piece of iron)
Duration: until the end of your next turn

At 5th level, the amount of temporary hit points granted becomes 2d4, at 11th level this increase to 3d4 and at 17th level it becomes 4d4 temporary hit points.
