Force of Wall of Force (5e Class)

This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: The 3rd level feature of both subclasses are related to a spell you don't gain access to until 5th level. You may want to fix that

Force of Wall of Force

Tired of all these spellcasters that learn so many different powerful spells with no clear reason to even cast half of them? Looking to have a specific and almost single-minded approach to mage training? Hoping to make some schmucks eat it on an invisible wall? This is the class for you!

A mage who eschews common magical theory in the sole pursuit of the wall of force spell becomes a scion of the spell itself: a Force of Wall of Force. The normal rules of wizardry are thrown out the window, and while a veteran Force of Wall of Force can't detonate a fireball or rain down lightning, they can cast their signature spell in ways otherwise unthinkable.

    Spellcasting

Your training and understanding of magic center entirely around the casting of the wall of force spell. The spell list for this class consists of wall of force as well as all cantrips from the wizard and artificer spell lists.

    Cantrips

At 1st level, you know four cantrips of your choice from the force of wall of force spell list. You learn additional cantrips of your choice at higher levels, as shown in the cantrips known column of the force of wall of force table.

    Spell slots

The force of wall of force table shows the number of spell slots you have to cast the wall of force spell. You must expend a spell slot to cast this spell. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.

    Spellcasting ability

Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for your spells. You are learning the ways of the wall of force spell through rigorous study, and the lessons you learn power your understanding of magic. You use your Intelligence whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Intelligence modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier
Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier

    Spellcasting focus

You can use an arcane focus or any clear gemstone as a spellcasting focus for your force of wall of force spells.

    Unarmored Defense

As long as you aren't wearing armor, your armor class equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Intelligence modifier.

    Team Builder

When you started out, you weren't particularly helpful, being a mage who couldn't cast non-cantrips. But you won't allow that to remain unchanged. Beginning at 2nd level, you can take the Help action as a bonus action on each of your turns.

Force of Force of Wall of Force

At 3rd level, you join a league of like-minded mages... a Force of them... a Force of Force of Wall of Force. Choose between mages wall and bastion, all detailed at the end of the class description. Your choice grants you features at 3rd level and again at 9th and 17th level.

    Ability Score Increase

When you reach 4th level, and again at 6th, 8th, 12th, 14th, 16th, and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.

    Extra Attack

This class was a horrible idea, and I have to throw the players a bone here. At 7th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the attack action on your turn. At 13th level, you can instead take three attacks.

    Multiforce

You only have one powerful spell you can cast, but you'll be danged if you aren't one of the best at it. Beginning at 10th level, you can concentrate on up to two instances of the wall of force spell. At 20th level, you can concentrate on up to three instances of the spell.

    Reinforced Wall of Force

At 11th level, as long as you are concentrating on exactly one instance of the wall of force spell, you have advantage on saving throws to maintain concentration on the spell.

    Wall of Force Enforcer

At 15th level, you recover all expended spell slots at the end of a short or long rest.

    Unstoppable Force

At 18th level, you and any objects worn or carried by you can move freely through any wall of force created by a spell you cast.

    Bastion

    Quick wall

At 3rd level, you may cast wall of force as a reaction or bonus action; if cast as a reaction you may use it to block an incoming attack or spell.

    Reflection

At 9th level, if your wall of force is hit by a attack or spell you may use a reaction to reflect the attack back on the attacker.

    Big wall

At 17th level, Your wall of force has 2 times the max size.

    mages wall

    mobile wall

3rd level, While concentrating a wall of force spell you may use a bonus action to have the wall move 15ft

    forceful wall

At 9th level, while moving a wall of force you can have it move into an enemies space to make them take 1d10 force damage and be pushed back at least 5 away from the walls new position

    greater mobility

At 17th level, you may now move your walls 30ft with a bonus action
