ACTIONS

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Fire Breath (Recharge 5-6). The wolf exhales a jet of fire in a 15-foot cone. Every creature in that area must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw, taking 18 (4d8) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Fire wolves stand as tall as a dire wolf with its strength too, and they are much like winter wolves, but more... you know... fiery. They have jet-black fur and bright red eyes, not to mention that their whole bodies are on fire pretty much all the time. They are mostly found near sites of forest fires and controlled burns, sometimes at the bases of volcanoes, but that's really rare. They are adored by fire giants and fire elementals as pets and guard dogs. They are frequently seen as beings of poor luck since every time someone's seen one, the next day, the village they lived in would be burned to the ground, sometimes with them in their homes. They tend to stick close to their own kind or something similar like dire wolves or blink dogs. When they are mixed into a fire wolf's pack, the fire wolf adapts its attack strategies to utilize them or protect the different dogs.

gollark: Imagine buying Apple products.
gollark: I've been pleasantly surprised by Android today. I had some weird issue with the ROM I'm using and it only required 10 minutes of digging through random github issues and adjusting random configuration parameters (which you need root to do because of course) to fix!
gollark: I think it's primarily done on GPUs these days.
gollark: In my experience they're 931GiB or GB or who even knows what.
