Cost: 10 gp / month

Includes tutoring in the use of the épée, sabre, foil or rapier; defensive techniques with cloaks, parrying dagger and buckler; and fencing savoire faire.

This tutoring is considered a downtime activity (PHB p. 187). It takes twelve months to complete the tutoring, which grants proficiency with two of the above weapons. In addition, the tutored character may double their proficiency bonus with Charisma (Persuasion) checks made when dealing with others who are trained in the art of fencing.
