ACTIONS

Multiattack. The fearmonger can use its Roar. It then either makes one claw attack or takes the slam action.

Roar. The fearmonger roars. All other creatures within 15 feet of the fearmonger must make a DC 11 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened until the start of the fearmonger's next turn.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 25 (3d12 + 6) slashing damage. Upon hitting, the target must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw or be pushed 10 feet away from the fearmonger.

Slam. The fearmonger beast slams its claws and body into the ground. All other creatures within 30 feet of the fearmonger must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 13 (2d12) bludgeoning damage and are knocked prone. On success, they take half the damage and are not knocked prone.

REACTIONS

Flap. When the fearmonger is the target of a melee attack, the fearmonger beast can flap its wings to create the effect of the gust spell of wind until the start of its next turn.

The first ever fearmonger beast was a curse by Odin and Zeus, 2 gods who don't normally team up, on a farmer who was an atheist entirely. The beast has a small head, but huge claws. Its head had small, white eyes and a mouth that had over 100 razor-sharp teeth The claws have 3 fingers and, like the rest of the beast's body, are tiger-striped. The arms are longer and thicker than its legs, making it hard for the beast to walk, but easier for it to climb. It has large wings for powerful flight and a long tail for balance. The beast loves to hold onto things, not hoard, just hold. It'll grab onto boulders and simply hold it in its massive claws for hours before leaving it behind. No one's sure why. What they do know is that fearmonger beasts speak the language of earth elementals, and that is only known by the fact that fearmonger beasts are seen talking to these elusive creatures of the earth frequently.
