Light Sensitivity. The eye killer has disadvantage on attack rolls and Wisdom (Perception) checks if it is in within 10 feet of a source of bright light, or in ambient bright light (such as daylight).

ACTIONS

Constrict. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 13). Until this grapple ends, the creature is restrained, and the eye killer can't constrict another target. An eye killer can use its action to crush a creature it has grappled with constrict by making another constrict attack, benefiting from advantage on the attack roll.

Death Stare (1/Day). (Only when in bright light) The eye killer targets one creature it can see within 60 feet of it. The target must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, and takes 21 (6d6) radiant damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one.

Eye Killer by Alan Hunter (from Fiend Folio)

An eye killer is a hybrid monstrosity found in dark underground places. It has the upper torso, head and wings of a giant bat, a mottled dark-grey and green. The lower body and tail of a giant snake, green with dull yellow flecks. Its wings are merely vestiges of its hybridization, an eye killer cannot fly. It has huge, lidless eyes that focus and reflect even the dimmest of lights.

Eye killers hate daylight and bright naked flames. If an eye killer encounters other creatures carrying lanterns or torches, it can focus the illumination falling into its eyes, and amplify it into a deadly beam of intense light. Once it has used this attack, it will attempt to disarm (DMG p. 271) the light-bearer of its light source, then proceed with constricting attacks. If there are more sources of light than there are eye killers, they will attempt to flee once all death stare attacks have been used.

gollark: ```pythonimport feedparserfeed = feedparser.parse("https://www.inaturalist.org/observations.atom?verifiable=any&page=1&spam=&place_id=any&user_id=samuelbrinker&project_id=")with open("feed.html", "w") as f: f.write("\n".join([ e["content"][0]["value"] for e in feed["entries"] ]))```This is a very simple script which will make an HTML file from the feed.
gollark: I think GitHub Actions might let you do that automatically at intervals, but I have no idea how.
gollark: Either you can do it in client-side JS, switch hosting, or have a script fetch the thing and output HTML which you could put into the repository.
gollark: Basically, as it's a static site, you can't run any serverside code to fetch and display the feed.
gollark: Ah, so a static website. This might be hard, then.
