Weapon (dagger), legendary (requires attunement)

This dagger has a blinding white hilt and a gleaming silver blade. It was made, not by, but for Etheria, the goddess of light and life from a forgotten pantheon, to be her official weapon for the rest of time. She never got it and no one saw the wonderful work put into the dagger.

Burning Light. The dagger emanates bright light for 5 feet and dim for another 5. Along with that, when the dagger is exposed to sunlight, it can shoot a beam of light at one target, dealing 1d6 radiant damage on a failed Dexterity saving throw (DC 17). You must wait until dawn to use this weapon in this way again.

Evildoers Beware. Creatures that are evil take an extra 1d4 radiant damage. In addition, if an evil creature attempts to pick up the dagger, they take 1d4 radiant damage.
