Enforcer (5e Subclass)

Enforcer

Fighter Martial Archetype
Enforcers are fighters with the intention of staying alive and keeping order. They take hits so others don't have to, and charge in keep the peace. Indeed, they are hardy people, and so they are often adept with armor, able to move fast enough to help those in need. As opposed to just a defensive fighting style, they break the mold of tanky people by moving as fast as speedsters to get where they are needed most. Enforcers can be seen similar to policemen on a battlefield, as they protect the innocent with their own bodies, and rush at wrongdoers to punish them.

Extreme Survivability

An enforcer has to outlast whatever chaos stands in the way. This means rushing into the fray to break up enemy units, with the expectation of some scrapes. Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, your hit point maximum increases by a number equal to your level and increases by 2 for each level you gain in the fighter class. Also, you add your Constitution modifier when you use your Second Wind feature.

Defensive Prowess

You have to keep yourself protected, but you also need to move fast. Starting at 7th level, your Armor Class increases by 1 and your base movement speed increases by 10 feet while you are wearing armor. Additionally, you do not take disadvantage from wearing medium or heavy armors.

Stone Will

An enforcer has a strong will, like that of stone. They cannot be so easily deterred by the tricks of enemies. Starting at 10th level, you gain proficiency in Wisdom saving throws.

Body of War

When an enforcer strikes, he does so with all his being. Starting at 15th level, you add your Constitution modifier to all your Strength-based attack rolls and damage.

Punishment

Those who would hurt others must receive retribution for their crime. Starting at 18th level, if a creature you can see makes an attack against a creature that is friendly to you, you may expend your reaction to move up to half your movement speed towards that creature. If the creatures comes within your weapon's range, you may make a melee weapon attack on that creature, with no extra action.
