Energy Resistance (5e Spell)

You speak an Utterance that causes the element of your choosing to bend to your will. When you speak this Utterance, you grant the target resistance to your choice of fire, cold, acid, or thunder damage for three turns. When you speak this Utterance in reverse the target is suddenly imbued with your choice of fire, cold, acid, or thunder and takes 25 points of the chosen damage. The target may make a Constitution or Charisma saving throw for half damage (rounded down).

At Higher Levels. When you speak this Utterance using a 4th level or higher slot, the effect lasts for an additional turn for each level above 3rd. When you speak this Utterance using a 5th or higher level slot, the target gains immunity to the chosen damage type. When you speak this Utterance in reverse using a 4th level or higher slot you add an additional 25 damage, per level above 3rd.
