Physical Description
Eastern dragon lamia are humanoid-like creatures with their torso and head more human-like with scales and claws, and maybe horns or wings. The horns on their heads are too small and dull to do any damage. Similar to Western Dragons, the scales on their long tails represent what type of element they are resistant to.
History
The eastern dragon lamia once a forgotten race viewed as protectors by the humans of their homeland, but one day they all seemed to have vanished without any trace. Until around ten thousand years after there missing. They started showing up again. Their origins are unknown. Some believe they are humans blessed by the dragon god, or good Bahamut, in order to protect the humans from the chromatic dragons. Others think that they are simply a subrace of dragonborn that evolved to be more serpent-like. They are known to be cold-blooded similar to how reptiles are.
Society
Unlike most reptiles, they give birth to live young. even so like most reptiles, the temperature of the climate that the mother is in will determine the number of babies will turn out to be male or female. Females of this race tent to be larger than the males and take care of most of the hunting, protecting and caretaking, while the males take care of more of the trading with other humanoid races since they are slightly smaller than the females.

Their names tend to have an Element theme to them but they stick closer to more human names.
Male: Asher, Skyler, Storm, Fin, Reef
Female: Skyla, Amber, Flora, Hazel, Jasmine
Eastern Dragon Lamia Traits

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2.
Age. You Reach Maturity around the age of 20 and can live for thousands of years.
Alignment. They tend to be more on the good since they are known to protect other humanoid races, however, there are some exceptions
Size. commonly they are known to be at most from tail tip to top of their head around 15 feet long and averaging around 340 pounds, there have been known to be larger but it is very unlikely.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Constrict. You can attempt to grapple a creature within 10 feet ok you with your tail. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw with DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier. On a fail, the target takes 1d6 + your Strength modifier bludgeoning damage on each of your turns until the grapple ends. If the target is Small or less, they have advantage on the save. You cannot constrict Large or bigger creatures.
Fangs. You have fangs, which you can use to make unarmed strikes with. They deal 1d4 + your strength modifier piercing damage.
Cold blooded. You are considered a cold-blooded creature. As such, when you are in a warm environment you have advantage on strength-based attacks, saves, and checks, as well as advantage on Survival checks. However, when in cold environments you have disadvantage on all of the above mentioned checks, attacks, and saves, and your speed is halved.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and either Draconic or Abyssal
Subrace. Golden, Emerald, Sapphire, Rubellite
Golden
Like the gold metallic dragons, golden eastern dragon lamias are wise creatures. They have sharper claws than most in addition to fangs, and heat never bothered them.
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1.
Draconic Resistance. You have resistance to fire damage.
Element Affinity. When attacking with an unarmed strike you can add 2d4 fire damage to the damage roll. This increases to 3d4 at level 6, and 4d4 at level 11. Once you use this trait, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
Claws. Your unarmed strikes do 1d4 + your Strength modifier slashing damage.
Emerald
Rare beings imbued with the power of gem dragons, emerald eastern dragon lamias are similarly wise and inquisitive like their golden cousins. However, they are not strictly good as metallic dragon descendants.
Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Draconic Resistance. You have resistance to poison damage.
Element Affinity. When attacking with an unarmed strike you can add 2d4 poison damage to the damage roll. This increases to 3d4 at level 6, and 4d4 at level 11. Once you use this trait, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
Keen Smell. You have an advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.
Sapphire
Often mistaken as blue dragon descendants, sapphire eastern dragon lamias share the gem dragon's militaristic tactical thinking. They have well developed gills and fins which allow them to swim.
Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
Draconic Resistance. You have resistance to cold damage.
Element Affinity. When attacking with an unarmed strike you can add 2d4 cold damage to the damage roll. This increases to 3d4 at level 6, and 4d4 at level 11. Once you use this trait, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
Amphibious. You can breathe both air and water, and you have a swim speed of 30 feet.
Rubellite
Sometimes just called ruby eastern dragon lamias, those of the rubellite subrace are known for their quick wit of tongues. Their scales afford them similar protection against acid spat from mouths.
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 1.
Draconic Resistance. You have resistance to acid damage.
Element Affinity. When attacking with an unarmed strike you can add 2d4 acid damage to the damage roll. This increases to 3d4 at level 6, and 4d4 at level 11. Once you use this trait, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
Serpent Tongue. You have advantage on Persuasion and Deception checks relying on speech.
