"In the first age, in the first battle, when the shadows first lengthened, one stood. Burned by the embers of Armageddon, his soul blistered by the fires of Hell and tainted beyond ascension, he chose the path of perpetual torment. In his ravenous hatred he found no peace; and with boiling blood he scoured the Umbral Plains seeking vengeance against the dark lords who had wronged him. He wore the crown of the Night Sentinels, and those that tasted the bite of his sword named him... the Doom Slayer." - a slayer's medley The Doom Slayer is warrior of great power who has long fought against all form of demon, purging the fiends from existence by ripping them to shreds by the horde. He appears to be a tall, human male of muscular physique, clad in green armor and carrying an array of long range weapons, however no sources can confirm if the slayer is actually human. Little is known of him other than his extreme combat prowess, beyond advanced technology, and his massive distain for all forms of demonic life. Odds are, if the Slayer finds the creature even remotely demonic in any way, he will seek to wipe it from reality in the most brutal way possible. Though not much is known about the Slayer's motives, there are several dominating theories. One is that he is powerful entity that was brought into creation simply to destroy all demons. Another is that the demon lords had done something to aggravate the Slayer before he began his impossibly long war with them. No matter the case, he is an intimidating being not to be taken lightly. As all who see him should fear his wrath, for he is no man to be trifled with. He was a member of the night sentinels. |
