Keen Senses. The dilophosaurus has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight, sound, or smell.

Mimicry. The dilophosaurus can mimic bird sounds. A creature that hears the sound can tell they are imitations with a sucessful DC 13 Wisdom (Insight) check.

ACTIONS

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw, taking 10 (3d6) acid damage on a failed save or half as much on a successful one.

Acid Spit (Recharge 5-6). The dilophosaurus spits acid in a line that is 40 feet long and 5 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 10 (3d6) acid damage on a failed save and is blinded. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and isn't blinded.

The dilophosaurus is an extravagant but deadly dinosaur. It is an 8-foot tall and 20-foot long predator, with a heavy tail, strong hind limbs, and a long neck. Its crests make a V shape above the creature's head. The crests are red and have black stripes, like a parrot. Its body is covered with yellow and black spots, like a leopard, with a light green belly. It can mimic the sounds of various types of birds to fool its prey. The dilophosaurus is able to spit toxic acid at a range of 12 meters (40 feet) and it usually targets the eyes of its prey in order to blind it and make it easier to kill.
